Summer Needs To Come SOON!!!

Summer needs to come soon, not because I am ready for the heat, although (if I can toot my own horn) it will be nice being 60lbs lighter this summer. Anyway, I NEED a break. We are always running.

Last night, I got off of work at 5:00, picked Jayci up, picked Danaka up, took Danaka to her dance class that started at 5:30, went home changed my clothes, changed Jayci, made Jay a bottle, picked Danaka up from dance at 6:15, grabbed our "getting old" fast food, took her to her game that started at 6:30. She did great. Her team is so fun to watch. Good job Danaka. As much as I am ready for summer, it has been so fun watching Danaka do something new. Anyway, this is pretty much our life. I think Jayci probably thinks that she is just suppose to live in her car seat most nights. It will be nice for summer to come, we won't know what do with all of our free time. I am sure we will think of something though.

Also, last night after Danaka's game we stopped by my sister's house so that I could do K'Lynn's hair. I have found the trick to crimmping. Lots of hairspray, and doing it the night before. The next morning, it still looks great, but just isn't quite as big. K'Lynn is going to have such a neat opportunity today. K'Lynn got asked to sing at something for parents trying to adopt and birth mother's. The song is called "My Mother's Love". It made me cry. It is a child singing. It talks about how one mother was there to hear her first cry, but the other one was there to help with daily trials. It is so beautiful, and very touching. Good Luck K'Lynn. I know you will do great. I will try and post a copy on here, if I can get it from the Keddington's, if not I will post the link to their blog so you can listen to it. You will need a tissue.

Starting next week, I am going to do some catching up. I will write about something from the past every week on Wednesday. I am calling it the "Turner's Turnback" (thanks Angela). Since I am going to be using this as out family scrapbook, it will be a good way to get caught up.

I hope everyone has a great week.

Mindi,
Hey I haven't seen your or talked to you since you were pregnant. I am actually not really sure how I even got to your blog, but I am so glad I did. Your girls are beautiful and so lucky to have you as a mom. You are really one of the strongest people I know. Keep in touch!
